March 25, 2021, was a day to remember at the Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center Campus. The South Patient Bed Tower team signed their names in history before watching the last structural steel beam get raised into place. It was a milestone day for Memorial Hermann’s growth in The Woodlands community.
South Tower by the numbers to date: the architectural team at PhiloWilke has put in over 32,000 hours, the tradesmen on site have worked over 250,000-man-hours, there was over 16,500 cubic yards of concrete poured, and over 590 pounds of structural steel. All those numbers together add up to one successful project with a priceless impact on the community.
We are humbled to do what we do every day. But, most of all, we are grateful for such a collaborative and engaged team. So, let’s get the South Tower completed!
