Anglomania: Tradition and Transgression in British Fashion
Inspiration and Design Statement
Our design was based on allowing the audience to experience the transition between early Elizabethan traditions and style and its transgression into more fearless,
modern-day trends. Our dress expresses this cultural shift from traditional fashion and royal influence to today’s feminine yet edgy, fearless yet chic look. Few histories have made an impact on the world as great as Britain, and few people have influenced that history, from the government to fashion, as Queen Elizabeth I. God Save the Queen!
