Amanda Hoerner brings a dynamic approach to her role as Accounting Manager. Detail-oriented and deeply invested in the business side of the company, Amanda thrives on solving challenges and values the trust and voice she has within the organization. Her approach to success is rooted in teamwork. She prefers collaboration over hierarchy and aims to be a teammate rather than just a leader.

Amanda’s career highlights include her pivotal role during the COVID year, where she led the transition to a modern, electronic accounting system, ensuring the company stayed current with the latest industry trends. Her decision to return to PhiloWilke after a stint in oil and gas is a testament to her deep connection and trust in the company, which she considers a family aligned with her belief in community and wellness.

Beyond her professional achievements, Amanda is actively involved in volunteer work. Losing her mother to colon cancer in 2016 was a pivotal moment for her, one that deepened her appreciation for the support systems that help families through difficult times. Inspired by her mother’s legacy, Amanda honored her memory by giving back to the community. She became actively involved with the Ronald McDonald House, a cause that resonated deeply with her as it supports families grappling with serious health challenges. Amanda continues to give back through donations and participation in the MD Anderson Boot Walk. She keeps her mother’s spirit alive by engaging in various charitable activities she shares with her children.

As a dedicated working mom, Amanda finds motivation in setting a strong example, balancing her career with family life by setting clear boundaries and prioritizing wellness.
