The Houston Methodist Spine Center included the renovation and build-out of shell space; creation of a new, consolidated out-patient Spine Center with its own dedicated entry. This project demonstrated our ability to work with a client in developing a project that met their strict aesthetic and functional desires on a very limited budget. The project included the build-out of existing shell space and the renovation of some existing space in order to minimize cost and disruption to the on-going operations.
We were able to find materials and finishes that complemented the existing facility’s outstanding image while minimizing the cost of construction. Our design included comparisons of multiple flooring options to ensure long-term durability while keeping first-time costs to a minimum. We utilized many of the existing mechanical and electrical systems to eliminate long-lead schedule concerns and reduce costs.
