Parkland, Washington – home to the new MultiCare Emergency Center provides convenient emergency care in the local community. This one-story facility is approximately 9,730 SF and was carefully planned to ensure the maximum amount of exam rooms per the site’s footprint. The design team worked closely with the structural engineer to meet all regulations and codes for a risk category IV seismic zone while meeting all Owner goals. Additionally, the team coordinated with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to get the building permit approved and maintained the construction schedule during the Pacific Northwest rainy season.
